I was just made aware of the major event coinciding with my bachelor party:
Yes, our crew of hetero-bachelor-party-goers will be arriving in Key West, FL as PrideFest kicks off its week of gay celebration.
I guess in a way, we will be participating in a weekend celebrating my heteroism.
Luckily, I am not homophobic. Having lived within close proximity to South Beach (Miami) and Disney World (Orlando) my entire life, it seems natural to embrace the gay community. I am glad that people feel free to do whatever they want behind closed doors… or even in public… hell, I have no problem with 5000 men and women performing same-sex oral on each other while my bachelor party tip-toes from strip club to strip club, paying gils lots of money to pretend to like us.
Perhaps the PrideFest participants will use one breath of air to laugh at us while we celebrate our hetero pride, for we surely could end up the minority during this voyage.
