The following was told to me by my friend Vik…I’m surprised I never heard of this concept before last night, but it’s pretty cool.
Basically, when you go out to eat or drink w/ your friends and the check comes, instead of splitting it, everyone throws their credit card into a hat, and the server randomly chooses one. The one chosen has to pick up the entire check.
It helps if everyone’s food costs are roughly equal. It’s an exciting end to a meal.
