Crash (2005)

Grab all of your bigot friends and drag them to see this movie, set in Los Angeles after September 11th, 2001. This flick should make everyone reevaluate their reactions to prejudice. I felt many emotions while watching this movie, and I am sure the rest of the theatre did as well.

Along with a laundry list of recognizable cast members and camios (including Tony Danza), the writing and directing blows you away with its motif:

Your individual actions toward prejudice contribute to a chain reaction of either positive or negative events, depending on the choices you made.

It is unfortunate this movie has an ‘R’ Rating, becuase middle and high school kids should be able to see this movie. It could be used to promote tolerance and acceptance of all people.

The critics actually liked this movie also.

Rating (out of 5): 5.0
