Shooting Blanks

Why does it make the hair on my neck stand up every time I use the stapler and it’s empty? Is this a male ego-related problem?

It happens about once a week at the office. I know when I have a lot of items to staple that I will probably run out during that job, but it’s not like I can add some staples before they run out! Isn’t that against the stapler end-user licence agreement or something?!?!?

This guy has the same concerns. It could become an epidemic.

Something to add?

I also feel as you do. At work the stapler is like my gun. My trusted side arm. If you go in to an old west stand off with an empty piece you’re dead. I also hate when people take my stapler. I hate reaching over for it in the spot I left it last and it is not to be found. Over the years I have grown to understand why Milton in Office Space burned down the building at Initech
